This is a renovation project for an old farmhouse in Tuscany. It houses two apartments, one for a couple and another for a family of four. The building is set in the side of a hill in Florence Italy, Where it used to be a small farm house for pigs and other animals. The building is completly made from stone with a taracotta tile roof. For the design of the interior I decided to keep some of the rustic look of the original building and add some flare with bright colors and textures. In the couple's apartment I updated the space with an African feel, with modern furniture and natural textures. In the family's apartment I choose a livelier feel with colorful rugs from all over the world coupled with a more eclectic selection of furniture. The two apartments still keep the feel of the farmhouse but with a much more updated and fun feeling.
